Anti-competitive agreements and abuse of a dominant position – compliance
The consequences of violating competition rules can be significant. The sanctions include invalidity, injunction, order, fines and/or damages of a size that can be life-threatening for a business and it is also necessary to ensure – irrespective of the fines – that the contractual basis and the business strategy used can be maintained – also in the event of objections.
Contructive and preventive advice
Plesner provides advice on all these issues and makes a point of providing useful, operative and constructive advice focusing on both the actual business environment as well as the business' own policy. Large parts of our advice are preventive, for instance by drafting business-specific compliance programmes, developing training and by assessing cooperation agreements, discount structures and exclusive agreements, etc.
