Arrangement with creditors

If a debtor or an undertaking is facing financial difficulties, we are able to provide assistance in reviewing the company's affairs and negotiating with creditors for the purpose of, for instance, establishing an arrangement with creditors.

Agreements on cancellation of debt or extension of credit

An arrangement with creditors can be defined as an agreement between a debtor and the debtor's creditors where the creditors cancel the debt in whole or in part or provide an extension of the payment of the debt. An arrangement with creditors can be based on a voluntary agreement between the parties or it can be a compulsory arrangement with creditors.

Assistance with negotiations with creditors

We assist in negotiations with creditors in relation to drawing up voluntary arrangements with creditors when it is deemed that a company's financial difficulties can be overcome by entering into an arrangement with creditors and by a compulsory arrangement with creditors. A compulsory arrangement with creditors entails that the system and provisions of the Danish Insolvency Act apply.
