Plesner has throughout decades generated considerable expertise within asset based financing with particular emphasis on ship and aircraft financing.

Ship financing

As regards ship financing we assisted ship owners as well as lenders in connection with the contracting of newbuildings, sale of second hand vessels and financial bareboat arrangements and time charters. We act on a current basis on behalf of Nordic Tankers A/S, Danish Ship Finance A/S and Nordea Bank Danmark A/S in connection with ship transactions.

Aircraft financing

Plesner has vast experience within aircraft financing and as advisor to international lessors and airlines, including Sterling Airlines A/S, and has assisted in a considerable number of transactions involving purchase, financing and leasing of commercial aircrafts.

Aviation law and regulatory matters

We also advise on all aspects of aviation law and on every regulatory matter of relevance to commercial aviation and the registering of aircraft and aircraft mortgages in Denmark.
