Corporate/Commercial

The Corporate/Commercial lawyers are in day-to-day contact with Plesner's regular clients and business contacts. We provide general advice, and we ensure and coordinate the involvement of other Plesner specialists when this is necessary. We are working much as generalists and often act as the client's key legal counsel or as contact to other specialists within Plesner. We are often used as partners on management or board level ensuring constructive fulfilment of the needs of our clients.

We also have in-depth experience in respect of contracts and other documents as well as negotiations in the Corporate/Commercial field.

Corporate law in all its aspects constitutes one of our core areas. Among other things, it includes corporate law, ventures, equity and incentive, securities law, questions related to boards and managements, foundations and financial activities, corporate governance and corporate social responsibility.

A major part of our work is related to company acquisitions, including buy-outs and spin-offs, demergers and mergers as well as transfers of ownership to new generations and changes in the composition of shareholders.

The Corporate/Commercial lawyers are experts in a number of commercial fields with emphasis on the law of contracts and agreements, among others agreements and contracts in relation to franchising, leasing, outsourcing, servicing and purchasing, joint ventures and other types of cooperation, standard conditions and risk management as well as commercial conflict management.
