Personal insurance

We advise a number of Denmark's leading insurance companies on personal insurance issues and we try their cases before the courts and the Danish Insurance Appeals Board. We generally advise the insurance companies.

Our advice includes handling and assessing cases involving:

• payment of damages under disability insurances
• non-disclosure
• time-barring
• scope of cover of accident insurances
• interpretation of arbitration clauses
• valuation of damages, etc.

We also assist in drafting policy terms, with general legal opinions about, for instance, assessment of guarantees/warranties and time-baring of cases involving disability due to illness.
