Esben Kjær is engaged in corporate finance matters with focus on transfer of undertakings (M&A), the stock market and the capital market law, advice on boards on an ongoing basis including corporate governance and cases regarding capital-raising through issues in the form of pre-emption issues and stock market listing, company law, joint ventures and options programmes.

Esben Kjær has particular expertise within public/private partnerships, privatizations, and asset based financing in this context.

He has acquired a particular competence linked to divestment of ailing companies in connection with restructuring, suspension of payments, or bankruptcy. 

Moreover, Esben Kjær has been appointed part-time lecturer in Property Law at the University of Copenhagen in 1996-2002.
