IK Partners to sell Løgismose

The leading European private equity firm, IK Partners, and other minority shareholders, have signed an agreement to sell Løgismose to the Danish family-owned company, Halberg A/S. Plesner acted as legal counsel for IK Partners.
IK Partners (IK) and the other shareholders have agreed to sell Løgismose Holding ApS and other related Løgismose companies (Løgismose) to Halberg A/S (Halberg).
Løgismose, which was originally founded in 1965, is one of the best known and most respected Danish brands, which operates in the fast-moving consumer goods market, retailing to customers directly, online and through strategic cooperation with Denmark’s largest retail chain, Salling Group. Its primary activities include production of dairy products and a variety of other high-end food products for retail sale, imports of wine and other delicacies and operating its own stores (incl. the Gourmet-supermarket at Nordre Toldbod).
IK Partners acquired the majority of the shares in the merged Løgismose Meyers with a desire to strengthen two of the strongest names in the Danish food landscape. In December 2022, Meyers was divested to UK-based Westbury Street Holding where Plesner acted as legal counsel as well. With the sale of Løgismose, IK's investment in the original Løgismose Meyers has now come to an end.
The transaction is expected to be finalised in Q3 of 2023.
