Kim Wagner is a senior counsel in our IP Law team and provides advice on patent law, in particular the practice at the European Patent Office in relation to patent litigation.
Kim has a scientific background (chemistry) and is a European Patent Attorney. He is also a European Patent Litigator and authorised to represent clients before the Unified Patent Court.
Kim has an extensive experience in representing international clients in opposition and appeal proceedings before the European Patent Office (EPO). Kim has a unique expertise in EPO case law and has been involved in several high-profile EPO Board of Appeal cases published in the Official Journal and in the Case Law of the Boards of Appeal of the European Patent Office.
Kim supports the IP Law team on technical and EPO-related matters in connection with patent litigation, including infringement, invalidity and preliminary injunction cases and IP due diligence and other patent related advice.
Kim was a partner in a Copenhagen-based IP Law firm for many years. He has also worked as an in-house Patent Counsel in a Danish and an American biotech company.
