Mikkel Falkenberg joins Plesner as partner

Mikkel Falkenberg will join Plesner as partner on 1 May. Mikkel will be a part of a new and reinforced team specialising in energy law and infrastructure.
Mikkel joins Plesner from Maersk Oil where he held a position as General Counsel, Head of Legal and he was also a part of the company's executive team.
In addition to his legal expertise, Mikkel will bring an in-depth understanding of commercial, financial and structural issues in the energy sector.
Mikkel will be a part of a group headed by five partners dedicated to advising Danish and international clients in the energy and infrastructure sector on all parts of their legal and commercial challenges. The other partners in the group are Peter Wengler-Jørgensen, Peter Fogh, Esben Kjær and Niklas Korsgaard Christensen.
Before joining the Mærsk group 11 years ago, Mikkel worked as a Danish attorney.
He has a Master of Laws degree from the University of Copenhagen and he also studied Business Administration at the Copenhagen Business School. Mikkel also studied management at the Harvard Business School and corporate finance at the London Business School.
