Seminar on 23 June 2015: the General Data Protection Regulation: what is to be expected?

The negotiations about the General Data Protection Regulation are progressing and a final adoption is getting closer. Despite the fact that the final wording of the Regulation has not yet been determined, Plesner is experiencing an increasing demand for advice about what will be new about the Regulation and how businesses and authorities can best prepare themselves for the Regulation.
At this seminar we will review the most recent developments and go through the parts of the proposed Regulation that a data protection of-ficer should take into account already at this point in time. We will also look at what can be expected as to the data protection officer's qual-ifications and the contents of such position.
