EMK Capital acquires Covidence

UK equity firm EMK Capital has agreed to acquire Covidence, a global technology leader in surveillance technology, from private equity firm Montagu. Plesner acted as advisor to EMK Capital.
Covidence provides video and audio surveillance equipment to police and intelligence agencies and others worldwide.
The business was founded in 2017 and is based in Rønde, Denmark. Covidence achieved double digit annual sales growth over the period from 2015 to 2018.
EMK Capital is based in London and the acquisition of Covidence is its first investment in Denmark.
