Marlin Equity Partners acquires Puzzel

Marlin Equity Partners has acquired Norwegian software provider Puzzel AS from Herkules Private Equity. Plesner acted as lead counsel for Marlin Equity Partners on the transaction.

Marlin Equity Partners has acquired Norwegian Puzzel, the leading European omni-channel cloud contact centre software provider. The seller is Norwegian Herkules Private Equity.

Puzzel is headquartered in Oslo and has offices in six European countries and customers in 40 different countries. Marlin Equity Partners’ investment in Puzzel is to contribute, among other things, to strengthening the product portfolio and expanding into new markets.

Marlin Equity Partners is a global investment firm with over USD 6.7bn of capital under management. Plesner previously assisted Marlin Equity Partners in connection with both the acquisition and the sale of Danish software provider Bluegarden and the acquisition of Swedish software provider Medius.

This is another example of transactions where we act as lead counsel on the relevant client’s acquisition of businesses outside Denmark based on our knowledge of a client’s business, culture and requirements.
