Capidea sells FlexoPrint to Optimum Group

The private equity fund Capidea sells the portfolio company FlexoPrint to the Dutch Optimum Group, which is backed by IK Investment Partners. The sale of FlexoPrint is Capidea's first exit in Capidea's latest fund. Plesner advised Capidea on the acquisition in 2018 and has now advised Capidea in connection with the successful sale.

FlexoPrint is among the leading producers of self-adhesive labels in Northern Europe and serves the fast-moving consumer goods industry and the logistics industry, among others. The company is headquartered in Randers, Denmark, with further operations in Germany, and has approximately 110 employees.

The Optimum Group is a European label printing group with 12 member companies. With the acquisition of FlexoPrint, Optimum now has operations in Holland, Belgium, Denmark and Germany. The acquisition of FlexoPrint is Optimum's fifth acquisition since 2018. Optimum is backed by IK Investment Partners, a European private equity advisory group with Nordic roots.
