Capidea divests Westpack

Plesner advised Danish private equity fund Capidea and the other shareholders on the sale of Westpack to Swedish private equity fund Adelis Equity Partners. Plesner assisted Capidea on the acquisition in 2017 and has now advised Capidea in connection with the successful divestment.
Westpack develops, markets and sells high-quality packaging solutions for jewellery, watch and eyewear brands as well as jewellers and retailers in general.
Capidea is a Danish private equity fund making long-term investments in small and medium-sized Danish companies, including within distribution, retailing and production. Capidea has a total capital commitment of approximately DKK 2.3bn across three funds.
Plesner's team on the transaction consisted of Thomas Holst Laursen, Morten Stig Ottesen, Louise Lund and Josephine Fischer Kjærulff.
