Plesner advises Commerz Real on investment in solar energy portfolio of up to 1 GW

Plesner advised German infrastructure manager Commerz Real on an investment in a solar energy portfolio of up to 1 GW. Commerz Real and Norwegian Hydro Rein jointly acquire the rights to the portfolio from GreenGo.
For many years, Commerz Real has invested in alternatives in the form of real estate and sustainable energy assets for their clients. Commerz Real is part of the Commerzbank Group and has more than 35 billion euros of assets under management.
In connection with this transaction Commerz Real acquires the rights to a portfolio of up to 1 GW of GreenGo, which will be in charge of the development.
Plesner advised Commerz Real on all aspects of the transaction, including due diligence, negotiations and the conclusion of transaction agreements.
