When the Self-Government came into force in 2009, a number of important areas of the law, including mineral resources, have been assigned to the Greenlandic authorities. Greenland continues to form part of the Unity of the Realm, which is responsible in international relations. Greenland is party to a European Union association agreement of October 2021.

The legal system and law in based on Danish principles and with access to courts of law in Copenhagen. We know the Greenlandic legislative, regulatory and legal systems and we have connections to Greenlandic authorities and businesses.
