Updated guidelines have been sent into hearing

Updated "Guidelines for drafting health economic analyses of medicinal products when applying for reimbursement" have been sent into hearing

The Danish Medicines Agency has recently sent the above-mentioned guidelines into hearing. The guidelines should replace the present guidelines for health economic analyses of medicinal products from 1998 and the related standardised reporting structure.

The guidelines include requirements and recommendations for carrying out health economic analyses of medicinal products when applying for reimbursement.

Since 1998 a lot has happened both nationally and internationally within the health economic evaluation, which is the reason for the update of the guidelines. The purpose of the update is hence to ensure that the guidelines are in line with the present standards for "good health economic practice", and that the guidelines comply with the guidelines for health economic analyses within other areas.

Deadline of the hearing is 12 April 2017.
