Verisure acquires alarm portfolio from Falck

Verisure and Falck have just entered into a collaboration agreement on alarm systems for private customers and small traders in Denmark and Norway. Verisure acquired Falck's alarm customer portfolio and a number of operational assets in Denmark and Norway as a part of the deal. Plesner advised Verisure on the transaction.

Verisure's acquisition and the new collaboration with Falck means that Falck will still market and sell alarms in Denmark and Norway, but that in future Verisure will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of the alarm systems.

To Verisure, the deal means that the group further consolidates its position on the Nordic alarm system market.

Verisure is Europe's leading company in monitored intrusion alarms for private customers and small traders. The group has more than two million customers in 14 different countries. The rescue service group Falck is currently doing business in 44 countries and has more than 38,000 employees.

The deal is subject to the approval of the relevant authorities.
