The University of Copenhagen and Microsoft enter into new collaboration on quantum research

The University of Copenhagen has entered into a new collaboration agreement with Microsoft Corporation on the development of a quantum computer. Plesner assisted the University of Copenhagen with the conclusion of the agreement.

Microsoft Corporation and the Niels Bohr Institute at the University of Copenhagen have entered into a new long-term collaboration agreement. The parties will partner to conduct quantum research in order to develop a quantum computer. As part of this work, Microsoft will establish a quantum centre at the University of Copenhagen and invest significant resources in the research.
