Teracom A/S completes DKK 460m mortgage financing of communications infrastructure

Plesner has acted for Teracom A/S in connection with a DKK 460m mortgage financing provided by Nykredit. The mortgage loan is secured on Teracom's nationwide communications infrastructure composed of fibre-optic cables as well as communications masts and satellite arrays.
The financing is structured under the land registration act's special regime for mortgage financing of utilities infrastructure.
The first transaction to employ the new regime was GlobalConnect's DKK 1.2bn mortgage financing of the company's fibre infrastructure in 2017 where Plesner also acted for the borrower.
