Templafy acquires iWRITER

Danish template management software company Templafy has acquired Netherlands-based iWRITER. Plesner acted as lead counsel for Templafy on the transaction.
Templafy, the provider of software solutions for template management, has acquired Netherlands-based iWRITER. Both businesses give access to Microsoft Office templates in PowerPoint, Outlook, Word and Excel.
iWRITER has more than 1,200 business customers and more than 350,000 individual users of its software. Following the acquisition of iWRITER Templafy has more than 1 million users.
Templafy was founded in 2014 and is a global market leader in template management software.
Plesner previously assisted Templafy in connection with the injection of capital from leading international funds and in connection with Templafy’s acquisition of German template management provider Veodin.
This is another example of a transaction where we act as lead counsel on the relevant client’s acquisition of businesses outside Denmark based on our knowledge of our client’s business, culture and requirements.
