Mette Hygum Clausen is a senior counsel in our IP Law team, focusing on Life Science.
Mette's primary practice area is general advisory services on the regulation of the Life Science area, negotiation and conclusion of IP and Life Science agreements such as technology transfer, licences, clinical trial agreements, material transfer agreements, research partnerships etc, and litigation in connection with disputes over such agreements and patent law. Moreover, Mette advises clients on trademarks, copyright and counterfeited products. She advises Danish and foreign clients in all industries, but especially in the Life Science and healthcare sectors.
In recent years Mette has worked on a number of key lawsuits and arbitration proceedings in Life Science and has advised clients on complex agreements. Mette also regularly advises various large clients on Danish regulation in this area.
Mette is the co-author of the chapter on Danish law in the book entitled "The Life Sciences Law Review", Law Business Research, 2015.
