Plesner's Marketing and Consumer Law team advises on all aspects of marketing and consumer law.

Marketing and consumer law has become increasingly complex, in particular during recent years, due to numerous acts and regulations, as well as an increased focus on enforcement by the Danish Consumer Ombudsman, among others.

Plesner's Marketing and Consumer Law team consists of individuals who have experience from working in the office of the Danish Consumer Ombudsman, the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority, the Danish courts and the industry, and this gives us a unique insight into how authorities handle matters and make decisions as well as knowledge about the industry's challenges and needs.

We have many years of experience advising Danish and foreign businesses on marketing and consumer law issues, which comprise compliance advice as well as assistance with regard to disputes between businesses or with authorities. Such matters frequently concern issues relating to IP law, personal data law, IT law or tax law etc, and due to our knowledge and ability to collaborate across practice areas we are also able to provide highly specialised and integral advice answering all questions that may arise in connection with inquiries relating to marketing and consumer law.

We advise and assist our clients with the following, among other things:

  • Disputes with competitors and authorities
