Plesner assists Niam Nordic V with the acquisition of property portforlio worth 13bn

The international real estate fund Niam Nordic V has made its first investment in Denmark. The investment was secured with Plesner as the legal advisor and comprises an attractive property portfolio of 646 owner-occupied flats worth approximately DKK 1.3bn.

One of the largest transactions in 2011

The properties are situated directly by the sea in new built-up areas in Sydhavnen in Copenhagen and in the Copenhagen suburbs of Vallensbæk and Søborg. The high-quality flats were built during the period 2007-2009 targeted at the owner-occupied housing market and today they are all occupied. The transaction was one of the largest transactions in Denmark in 2011 and Plesner assisted Niam Nordic V carrying out a legal due diligence and negotiating a transfer agreement, a loan agreement etc.
