Danish architecture firm SIGNAL sold to ISS

SIGNAL, which is one of the leading workplace design advisors in Denmark, has just been sold to ISS. Plesner advised the sellers of SIGNAL on the transaction.

Gitte Andersen, who established SIGNAL in 2000, decided together with co-owner Per Feldthaus to sell the architecture firm to ISS.

SIGNAL has about 30 employees at its offices in Copenhagen and Oslo. The company's annual turnover is about DKK 30 million. With the acquisition of SIGNAL, ISS will further consolidate its position in strategic workplace consultancy services and workplace design.

SIGNAL's executive board consisting of Gitte Andersen and Per Feldthaus will stay with the company and will be responsible for the continued growth and development of SIGNAL as an independent entity in the ISS group. SIGNAL will be responsible for the establishment of a global innovation centre that is to advise on how strategic workplace design together with other services can help improve employee satisfaction and user experience.

The sale of SIGNAL is final and is not conditional on any regulatory approval.
