Plesner advises Trustpilot in connection with listing on the London Stock Exchange

On 26 March 2021, Trustpilot, the Danish online consumer review platform, was admitted to trading and official listing on the London Stock Exchange. Plesner advised Trustpilot on the Danish aspects of the listing and the preceding restructuring of the group in connection with the formation of a new parent company for the group in the UK. 

Trustpilot is a market leader with respect to online consumer reviews and is publishing approx. one million new consumer reviews every month. The group has offices in Copenhagen, New York, Denver, London, Berlin, Melbourne, Edinburgh and Vilnius.

The listing values the group at GBP 1.08bn and comprises the offering and sale of shares corresponding to 44% of the shares in the company. The proceeds from the offering and sale of shares as part of the listing amount to GBP 473m. In addition to this, the issuing banks have been granted a usual overallotment option of a large shareholding.
