Ahlsell to acquire Sanistål

Plesner has advised Sanistål A/S in connection with Ahlsell's acquisition of 75.49% of the shares held by major shareholders, and Ahlsell's subsequent submission of a voluntary, recommended offer to the minority shareholders.

Plesner has advised Sanistål in connection with the acquisition of 75.49% of the shares held by major shareholders in Sanistål A/S - Danske Bank A/S, Jyske Bank A/S, Nordea Bank Abp and Nykredit A/S - and the subsequent submission of a voluntary, recommended offer to the minority shareholders.

Sanistål A/S was established in 1926 and was admitted to trading and official listing on Copenhagen Stock Exchange (now Nasdaq Copenhagen A/S) in 1984. Today, Sanistål employs approximately 1,127 people through Sanistål and its three (3) subsidiaries. Sanistål is headquartered in Aalborg, Denmark.

Completion of the share purchase agreements is subject to certain conditions, including that necessary approvals by relevant regulatory authorities are obtained.

Sanistål is a sourcing partner in the manufacturing and construction industries, and Sanistål's product range includes more than 396,000 products in the water & drainage, tools and steel (and many other) customer categories.
