Plesner receives award for efforts in helping women advance in the legal profession
Plesner just received the award as the best Danish law firm in Euromoney's "European Women in Business Law Award 2014".
The award brings into focus European law firms' activities in terms of promoting women's careers.
We are very proud of this award as we focus on making a real and perceptible difference for our female talents and want to have more women partners.
Mentoring scheme and panel discussions
We have established a mentoring scheme aimed at women who are 3rd year assistant attorneys or have more seniority. The mentor is an external or internal partner from another practice area than the mentee. The aim is to provide the mentee with the necessary inspiration and support in respect of development and career through mentoring and advice on development, further training and career. We also arrange panel discussions for women lawyers on subjects that are relevant if a woman is contemplating a career as a manager or a partner.
In 2014/15 we will continue cultivating our female talents by systematising our efforts in terms of dialogue, briefings, following up on absence due to maternity leave and internal networks.
