Plesner recognised as the leading M&A adviser in Denmark

The international research agency Mergermarket has just named Plesner the winner of "Denmark M&A Legal Adviser of the Year".
Plesner has been recognised as the leading M&A Legal Adviser in Denmark by Mergermarket, the leading research agency that follows Danish and international transactions closely.
Being awarded the prize as "Denmark M&A Legal Adviser of the Year" consolidates Plesner's position as a market leader after a busy year advising our clients on a number of complex transactions.
Plesner has been awarded the prize based on our advice to Temasek on the acquisition of 30% of the shares in Haldor Topsøe (a leading global engineering company), Investor AB's sale of Aleris (the leading healthcare provider in Scandinavia), Danske Bank, Nordea and other Nordic banks on the sale of LR Realkredit (a leading mortgage finance business) and A.P. Møller Holding on the acquisition of KK Wind Solutions (a leading global supplier of electric system solutions for the wind turbine industry), among others. Most recently, Plesner also advised Veloxis on a tender offer from Asahi Kasei Group.
According to Mergermarket, Plesner is the Danish law firm that has advised on Nordic transactions having the highest total transaction value during the period 2000-2019.
