Lise Aaby Nielsen is an attorney-at-law in our European Community Law and Competition Law team.
Lise advises clients on both Danish and European competition law, public procurement law, state aid law and other EU law matters.
Lise advises on all aspects of competition law, including horizontal and vertical agreements, merger control and other M&A related competition law matter. Lise assists with merger notifications to both the European Commission and the Danish competition authorities and has been involved in some of the most complicated merger notifications. Lise also has experience in representing companies in relation to infringements being investigated by the Danish competition authorities and the public prosecutor.
Another area of Lise's expertise is public procurement law. Lise has a vast experience in advising on all aspects of EU and Danish public procurement law and advises both contracting authorities and suppliers at all stages of a public procurement procedure, both in the form of strategic advice on the authority's preparation and completion of a procedure, the supplier's preparation of a tender and the subsequent enforcement of the procurement rules before the Danish Complaints Board for Public Procurement and/or the courts.
Lise is also an external lecturer in competition law at the University of Copenhagen.
