Mikael Delin is a senior attorney in our Dispute and Resolution team and is primarily engaged in construction law as well as tort and insurance law.
A large part of Mikael's work consists of litigation and arbitration proceedings concerning technical consultants' professional liability, and he is therefore also affiliated to the Dispute Resolution practice area. Furthermore, Mikael regularly represents employers and contractors in disputes relating to building and construction contracts.
Mikael also advises employers, contractors and consultants in connection with the negotiation and conclusion of construction and consultancy contracts.
Moreover, Mikael conducts subrogation cases on behalf of both Danish and foreign insurance companies for the processing of diverse claims, and he often handles non-conformity cases arising in the wake of large-scale property conveyances.
Given his extensive experience as a litigator and his Swedish background, Mikael is also in great demand as an advisor to Swedish businesses that are parties to commercial disputes in Denmark.
Finally, Mikael provides advice on regulatory insurance law and on M&A in relation to liability and insurance matters.
Since 2009, Mikael has been serving as an external examiner at the General Council of the Danish Bar and Law Society in connection with the litigation exam ("retssagsprøven"), and in 2014 he was appointed an external examiner for the Master of Laws programmes.
