Plesner named best law firm for women lawyers

Plesner has just been named the best Danish law firm to develop the careers of women lawyers. Euromoney Legal Media Group has given Plesner the "Europe Women in Business Law Award 2015" in Denmark.
The award brings into focus European law firms' activities in terms of promoting women's careers.
- "At Plesner we focus on making an appreciable difference to our female talents and we have a clear wish to have more women in our group of partners. We are proud that our efforts have been recognised internationally and that we have received an award from Euromoney. It confirms that we are on the right track", says attorney-at-law and partner Niklas Korsgaard Christensen, who is responsible for Plesner's efforts towards women and their careers.

Plesner has a special mentor scheme for female third-year assistant attorneys and attorneys. The mentor is an external or internal partner from another practice area than the mentee. The aim is to provide the mentee with the necessary inspiration and support through sparring and advice on development, further training and career.
Plesner also arranges panel discussions for women lawyers on subjects that are relevant if a woman is contemplating a career as a manager or a partner.
