SEF sells German wind farm to European Energy

Plesner acted as legal counsel for SEF A/S on the sale of a wind farm comprising of 15 wind turbines. The wind farm is located close to Berlin, Germany.

Plesner advised SEF A/S on the sale of the wind farm Niemegk which has a capacity of 30 MW comprising of 15 wind turbines. The wind farm is located close to Berlin, Germany. 

SEF A/S acquired the wind farm back in 2014 and has decided to sell it to European Energy. European Energy has been responsible for operating the wind turbines in Niemegk under SEF's ownership. Consequently, the transaction was a natural continuation of the long-standing relationship.

European Energy is planning to perform repowering of  the wind farm to increase the capacity to 64.8 MW.
