Kim har en videnskabelig baggrund (kemi) og er europæisk patentagent. Han er desuden European Patent Litigator og autoriseret til at føre sager for klienter ved den fælleseuropæiske patentdomstol.
Kim har omfattende erfaring med at føre indsigelses- og appelsager for internationale klienter ved den europæiske patentmyndighed (EPO). Kim har særlig ekspertise i retspraksis ved EPO og har været involveret i adskillige højt profilerede EPO appelsager, der er blevet publiceret i Official Journal og i Case Law of the Boards of Appeal of the European Patent Office.
Kim bistår vores advokatteam vedrørende tekniske og EPO-relaterede spørgsmål i forbindelse med retssager om patentkrænkelse, ugyldighed og midlertidige forbud og IP due diligence m.v.
Kim har gennem mange år været partner i et patentbureau med hovedkontor i København. Han har desuden været ansat som intern patentagent i en dansk og en amerikansk biotek-virksomhed.
